Personal statement help for university applications
Many universities ask for a personal statement explaining why you want to study your chosen course, what you have achieved and what you plan to do after graduating. We help you structure your statement, highlight the right experience and make sure it meets the university’s requirements.
GTE and Genuine Student statements for Australia
Students applying for an Australian student visa used to submit a Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE) statement. Since March 2024 this has been replaced by the Genuine Student (GS) requirement, where you answer questions about your circumstances, your chosen course and how it will benefit your future. Your answers need to be clear, honest and consistent with the rest of your application, and our counsellors help you get them right.
Why guidance matters
The statement is a vital part of your application and needs to be done correctly. A generic or inconsistent statement can weaken an otherwise strong application.
