Student Visa Applications

Punzila helps students in Zambia prepare and submit their student visa applications. Through our Lusaka office you can apply for a study visa to:

• the United Kingdom (UK Student visa)
• Australia
• Canada (study permit)
• France
• Schengen countries

For other destinations, student visa applications are made online or through the university, and we can advise you on what is needed.

UK student visa from Zambia: the 28-day bank statement rule

For a UK Student visa, you must show a bank statement held for at least 28 days that covers one year of tuition fees plus nine months of living costs. This is a UK government requirement, and applications without it risk refusal. Our counsellors check your financial documents before you apply.

Working during and after your studies

Students can usually work up to 20 hours a week while they study. In most study destinations, graduates can then apply for a post-study work visa after completing their degree.
